Feels like home

When you’re at Fraser Shores, you’re home. Warm and inviting, this lifestyle community fosters a sense of belonging, with friendly residents, modern homes and a comfortable and safe environment. Add a stunning location and a range of services designed to take care of all the little details, and you have the stuff retirement dreams are made of.

Welcome home.

Lifestyle
Well positioned in beautiful Hervey Bay, this lifestyle community is enhanced by its close proximity to some of Queensland’s best landscapes. Explore World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and Lady Elliot Island, experience the world’s closest whale watching encounters, or simply relax on the beach with endless views across the blue ocean waters.

The beauty of the location extends to the village, with tranquil gardens surrounding our freestanding homes. Spacious and spread out, our modern community lends itself well to an independent lifestyle where your days are free to do whatever you want.

Make new friends, explore your surrounds, or connect with the wider community. If you are looking to give back to the community, we are part of not-for-profit Blue Care, which provides ample opportunities to engage in volunteer work.  No matter how you decide to spend your days, your time is well and truly your own thanks to a host of services aimed at freeing you up to make the most of each day.
Services
Our services are designed to promote ease of living, so you don’t have to worry about the hassles that can come with owning a home. This includes support with looking after your home and garden – just have a chat with our friendly assistant village managers, who are on site seven days, if you need assistance.

Benefit from the peace of mind that comes with knowing that 24/7 emergency response is also provided. You can rest easy knowing that extra help is available should you need it – Fraser Shores is part of Blue Care, which provides home care services, such as help with the housework, as well as transport and allied health services, should the need arise.

Even better, our friendly and experienced staff are always on hand to help. This includes organising village walk-throughs, downsizing or moving into your new home, and getting settled into your new, carefree life at Fraser Shores.

The boom in caravanning shows no signs of slowing
In the past two years, thousands more people have hooked up a caravan and hit the road. And it turns out age is no barrier.
Retirees are getting ‘younger’
Whether she’s cycling through town, swimming laps, or running a community garden, Tesca Vermeulen is challenging the perceptions of what it means to slow down as you age.
